Please report in on the activities and reading that you did over the Thanksgiving Break!

Thanksgiving Break Challenge

School Vacation will begin on November 20th at 2:55 pm. Over the Thanksgiving Break I would like to challenge all students to do at least 30 minutes of reading each day. In addition to reading, I would also like to challenge all student to do some physical activity each day. Try to do something active for a minimum of 45 minutes per day.

When students return on November 26th I ask that we try to make sure that we have hats, gloves, and winter coats. We try to get out to recess when weather permits. We want all to be properly dressed.

My First Post

This is the very first post on my new blog. Teachers here at Canal School are beginning to get very excited about creating their own blog. During the last couple of weeks blogging has started to take off in the Westbrook School Department. Currently, I know of atleast 5 teacehers that are blogging with their students about classwork and different books.

I have yet to decide what the focus of my blog will be about. I am hoping that students and parents will ask me questions about school, healthy activities, baseball, or whatever is on your mind. I will do my best to provide accurate and timely information.
